Drive times to the San Ysidro border crossing vary with traffic; add border wait time when you return to the U.S.

About 20–35 minutes to the border. The clinic is roughly 10–15 minutes from San Ysidro.

Orange County

About 1.5–2 hours via I-5 South, depending on traffic.

About 2.5–3 hours by car; many patients make it a day trip or stay overnight.

Crossing the border

Getting to Tijuana is easier than you think

  • Drive or park and walk: cross at San Ysidro or Otay Mesa. Many patients park on the U.S. side, walk across and take a short taxi or rideshare to Zona Río.
  • Bring the right ID: U.S. citizens need a valid passport, passport card or trusted traveler card (SENTRI / Global Entry) to return by land.
  • Faster return: SENTRI and Ready Lane-eligible travel documents can shorten border waits.
  • Bring your records: recent labs, imaging and a list of medications help Dr. Robinson plan your care.

Mexico's regulatory framework allows physicians to offer some regenerative and integrative therapies that are not widely available in U.S. clinics.

Time with your doctor

Your plan is built and supervised by Dr. Robinson personally, with time to answer your questions.

Close to home

Treatment minutes from the border means less travel, easier follow-ups and recovery at home.

Before any treatment, we explain the evidence, risks, costs and alternatives. Many therapies discussed on this site are investigational and are not FDA-approved. Please keep your U.S. physicians informed about your care.
